Whoops forgot a title

Sarah: (about someone in the waiting room) That is the pastiest live person I've ever seen, and not even in a Pendergast-that's-kinda-hot kinda way.

Me: (recognizing a patient) Oh, I remember you. Last time you were here, you couldn't spell Bhamindapati.
Patient: Who the hell can?!

It's Gina Needs a Nap's six month anniversary. I swear to god I started this blog back in December of 2010 but apparently it was actually June of 2011.

Look at this cutie pie. My voice shoots up 12 octaves when I see him. One of the gals who works at the office upstairs bought this cuddly fluffy thing on craigslist. Monica described him as the size of a hamster and I thought she was totally BSing, but he really is the size of a little kitten :3
His name is George. Heather calls him Baby-G.

Yesterday was Ruth's last day a Thine Place of Employment hitherto known as "CFE". Ruth is (was) one of the CRNAs here. I barely knew her until about two months ago when she saw me knitting in the break room one day (I had been working on Vin's scarf), and as it turns out she is quite the knitter.

After work Tuesday we had our annual Holiday party at Bonefish Grill.

I got my usual caesar salad with grilled chicken and their tasty, tasty bread. Laurie next to me got the Bang Bang Chicken, which was DELICIOUS and will be my new favorite there.

L to R:
Indira, Joyce H, Mary, Laurie, Me, Maryann, Sarah, Leslie, Deb, Dale.
Not pictured Diane who was taking the picture.

Laurie got all fancified but I wore my crap from work.

Sherlock will be back for Season Two on January 1! I am looking forward to this even more than Doctor Who Christmas episode. It is probably my favorite thing on TV right now and it's a shame Americans don't know about it.

In other unrelated news, I have started playing FFXI again after Liam emailed me to let me know DryRoot will be starting back up in January.
FFXI is an epic lifesuck and I promise not to get addicted. Again. (Was I ever addicted in the first place? I found it surprisingly easy to quit last year.)

I had a bit of a reputation as kind of a badass RDM (Red Mage) and I'm glad to see I haven't lost my touch.

  1. Shared with J that you will be back on FFXI...are you excited?! How does that work since you all haven't been on in so long? Is there a lot of catching up? Have they raised character levels like they have since I left WoW?

  2. I have been back on FFXI for about 3 weeks now. My LS isn't starting back up til Jan so I wanted some time to catch up on stuff I was missing.

My account was cancelled automatically back in March I think, because Square-Enix switched billing companies and since I wasn't playing, I didn't know. So because I hadn't updated payment info they auto-cancelled. Luckily I was able to get my account back with no problems. Only had to call tech support twice.

Yes they have raised level cap to 95. (Although the cap will be raised to 99 with a update today actually)
