Autumnal

(Me) They look like Veneers.
(Vin) You’re a Veneer--
(Me) Thank you!
(Vin) --ial disease.

(Mom, watching men’s wrestling during the Olympics) This would be a lot better if they had baby oil all over themselves.
(Me) Or mud.
(Mom) Or Jello.

(Me) I think it’s time to hang up my Halo poster.
(Vin) I think it’s time to hang you.

(Diana) You know that jumper guy?
(Me) Felix? The Australian?
(Diana) Yeah, the guy who jumped from the balloon.
(Me) Yeah, what about him?
(Diana) He's frigging crazy.

Late night, avoiding the Presidential debate, watching The Planets on Science Channel. Copious amount of pictures and very little blog updating has got me feeling guilty again. I always take pictures and think "oh hey, yeah, I'll write about that" but it never happens. Blogger still has a crappy interface.

Just as soon as I got my own shiny new cubicle it was taken away from me by one of the many new people they have hired in the last few weeks.

My workstation.

Das Vending Machine in the break room decided to not give Diana her Reeses Pieces. Had to do some arm Origami to retrieve it.

Omar, one of our Loan Officers, likes to tell his clients that Diana and I are his assistants (PS not even kind of true) but he does it in jest. So he got us some Starbuckses to make up for it.

More catered lunches on Friday because we are so awesome. The president of the company sent me a nice email a few weeks back after I did the company QC for him:
"I just wanted to thank you for all of your hard work. It has been a great pleasure having you on the team!!"

I love everyone :-)
Mark (another Loan Officer) is one of my favorite people ever. This afternoon we were racing to remember who the third tenor was of The Three Tenors.

Me: Domingo, Pavarotti, and the other one.
Mark: I think his name is The Other One.

He said NO GOOGLING, so I Wikipedia'd.

I won.

José Carreras.

Diana, Hani, and I at Venetian (Geneva Commons)
The most memorable thing about this was not the actual trip, but the numerous mentions of potential finger herpes from stabbed cuticles on Monday.

The same tree in our front yard, as the leaves changed <3

Our backyard.

I'm already over this blog post.

Andrew and his "creeper" face taking me out to lunch.

Oh dear, I love this picture so much. My workplace is right near an iHop so it's very quick to go there for lunch. My brother has a mancrush on a co-worker Pedro (they love the same music and Vin will stop by just to give him USBs with trance music. And then take me out to lunch, cause you know, might as well since he's already driven this far.)

My brother <3

Three co-workers have commissioned "Original Rossi" knitwear. Carlos wanted a manly blue hat (night of knitting supplies pictured). Esme wants a blue and orange (Go Bears - the yarn just arrived for that today) baby cap for her newborn, and Esther wants a purple faux-cable slouchie hat made from Malabrigo yarn which I have to actually buy in person in St. Charles one weekend.

I will be working on a mohair shrug knit on the bias for myself that I'm really super excited about. The mohair arrived today with Esme's yarn and it looks scary as shit to knit with because it's so thin but PAIN IS THE PRICE OF BEAUTY, FOLKS.

Excellent restaurant in Batavia whose name I can never remember.

Om nom nom.

Doctor Who season 7 has reached it's midseason finale (will be concluded in December) and the best episode was Cubed. Mostly because the Doctor was addicted to Wii tennis to the point where he asked the the evil invading aliens to wait because he was in the middle of a match.

And of course, my adorable Lumi <3

And that's it.

My life is basically A) working, B) sleeping, C) cooking things off Pinterest D) waiting for Skyfall.

Someone get me tickets to the midnight please.
